PSYCHOLOGY COURSE
Minimal influential poster
In this project we had an actual client, ACT. IL , I was required to create a poster that would
change an observers position in a subtle manner, without appearing hostile. The agenda was this: Israel has a place in this world, it is not the
warmongering country people often think it to be, it is a land of equal opportunity, rights and It's more alike to the United States than people realize.
I've created three variations for this project under the motto of 'We're more alike than you think'.
The first one is directed to the american land, the states. I took the 52 stars out of the USA flag, the very same stars that represent each state, and placed it in comparison to our single star, that represents our one and only state.
The second one is directed at what americans value the most, their freedom, the date of Independence is an important mark for an american citizen. next to it, appears our Independence, in a form of a date, the same font as theirs, to emphasise on this connection the two countries share.
The last one puts into view the large scale of the United States against the measly piece of land that israel is. It also raises the follow question: 'If you have your land, why can't we have ours?'
